Summary of how we process the data you upload, as your processor. Last updated: 19 September 2026.
1. Roles
For the customer data you upload, you are the data controller and UGS LTD acts as your data processor. We process that data only on your documented instructions, which include the operation of the ChurnDetective service described here.
2. Scope of processing
Subject matter: churn analysis of uploaded customer data.
Data categories: the file you upload, which should contain only customer_id, mrr and joined_at.
Purpose: to compute churn risk, segments, recommendations and reports for you.
Duration: for as long as you use the service, subject to the 90-day default dataset retention.
3. Our obligations
Process the data only on your instructions and for the service.
Keep uploaded customer data encrypted at rest and restrict access on a need-to-know basis.
Assist you with data subject requests that relate to the uploaded data.
Notify you without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting your data.
Delete or return the data when the service ends or on your request, subject to legal retention duties.
4. Sub-processors
We use a limited set of sub-processors (for example hosting, payments and email delivery) to run the service. They act on our instructions and are bound by appropriate data protection terms. A current list is available on request.
5. International transfers
Where processing involves a transfer outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Audit and cooperation
We provide the information reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance with this agreement. To request the full agreement or discuss terms, email privacy@churndetective.app.
